Yesterday’s Solvang Farmer’s Market was another wonderful bounty, alive with colorful Fall produce. I always try to find something I haven’t tried and yesterday it was celery root and chodri kale. Think I will boil and mash the celery root with some butter and garlic…lo carb “mashed potatoes”. Chodri kale is both beautiful and sweet, so I think I will just saute it and enjoy with celery root puree. I havent quite figured out what to do with the beautiful persimmons…Any ideas? I would welcome your comments. Cheers!
