This great event, with over 100 Santa Barbara County vintners present, attracts people from all over the country.
With over 100 vintners pouring tastes, over 25 food purveyors serving samples and hoppin’ live music from Margie Nelson and Burning James & Funky Flames, this is the The Party of the Season. I just spoke with the Festival management, and tickets will be available at the gate. They are $85.00 per.
To get there using GPS, you might try 5000 Zaca Station, Los Olivos. If you are coming from the San Marcos Pass (HWY 154), you will turn north/east on Foxen Canyon Road. It is a neat drive as you tour through our beautiful wine country. Don’t forget to have a designated driver…the “tastings” can amount to several glasses. Also, most of the hotels/motels are full. You might check out options in Santa Barbara.
Oh, and if you are having the time of your life, you might find yourself thinking “If I lived here, I’d be home now“. If so, you might consider the possibility of a second/vacation/retirement home. I would be happy to meet with you for light chat about the possibilities. You never know. This was the event that started my own property search in 1989. There are many other wine related events going on in the Santa Ynez Valley this weekend, with wine maker dinners and special events at the many wineries. I suggest that you check HERE for more information.
Cheers!
